The top division football club competition between European leagues. In 1955 it's founded but rebranded in the year 1992. The top four teams from the top football leagues Ligue 1, Serie A, LA Liga, Premier League and Bundesliga qualified for the champions league each season. The winning team of Champions League later qualified for the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

The competition of champions league began each year in June with qualification process. Three qualifying surviving teams later playoff's, inducted to the group stages. Once the 32 teams qualified for the group stages, all eight groups confirmed after the draw. In the month of September or in last week of August, the fixtures of champions league began and finals played in the month of May.
The winner qualified and played first with the team Europa League winning team in UEFA Super Cup and later in December FIFA Club World Cup alongside other confederation champions.
